89% of organizations use Live ILT, 86% use Live VILT, and 75% use asynchronous eLearning as their most common content delivery methods
Traditional classroom training with live instructors (Live ILT) emerged as the top content delivery method. Additionally, live instructor-led virtual classrooms (Live VILT) and asynchronous e-learning ranked as the second and third most prevalent methods across small and large organizations. This approach aids organizations in cost reduction (travel and classroom space expenses) while facilitating real-time interaction opportunities for geographically dispersed workforces.

Simulations and scenario-based learning are the second most common technology-based learning methods, used among 49% of respondents, whilst 42% use microlearning. Furthermore, large organizations are more likely to say that they used simulation and scenario-based learning than smaller organizations.

Mandatory and compliance training and new employee orientation were the most common learning content across industries
96 percent of respondents indicated that new employee orientation content was offered most frequently, with 41 percent concentrating the majority of their learning content in this area. Mandatory and compliance training was provided by 95 percent of organizations, with 42 percent allocating the majority of their content in this area. This training includes safety, health, sexual harassment, cyber awareness, privacy, and industry-specific compliance training.
