Social learning theories emphasize that learning is with and from others. In social learning environments, learning happens through direct and indirect contact.   Even in eLearning experiences, learning doesn’t have to end on a course conclusion page. If the goal is to truly immerse learners in deeper levels of learning, we shouldn’t consider reaching the end of an eLearning course the end at all. Instead, think of it as a process or journey you’re taking your audience on.   ## Remember The 5C’s Framework for Social Learning   ### Communicating An interchange of knowledge and perspective among groups ### Collaborating Relationships that support constructive learning ### Creating Active learning influenced by cognition, environment, and behavior ### Connecting A cognitive process that takes place in a social context ### Curating A synthesis of knowledge that is personal to the learner   ## Types of Social Learning   ![types of social learning](https://blog.elblearning.com/hubfs/types%20of%20social%20learning.png)   At eLBX Live, Brandie covered different types of social learning, including social polling, coaching and mentoring, gamification, leaderboards, and Q&A sessions.
