Let’s explore the eLBX Online venue!
This year, our annual eLBX conference is hosted online using the Rockstar Learning Platform.
Yup, we’re using an LMS to host a virtual conference. Think we’re crazy? Just keep reading.
The Rockstar Learning Platform offers easy management of live instructor-led virtual events and enables you to blend live events with pre-recorded on-demand content (like our welcome video from CEO Andrew Scivally or Lectora tutorials).
We’re using Zoom for our live presentations this year, but the Rockstar Learning Platform also supports WebEx, Teams, GotoMeeting, and other popular platforms.
When you register for eLBX Online, you’ll automatically be enrolled into our “Welcome to eLBX Online 2021” curriculum, which contains a few videos of what you can expect from eLBX Online, how to use the platform, and other goodies. See, auto-enrollment—another LMS feature that’s perfect for virtual conferences!
As you’re browsing through eLBX Online, you can RSVP for sessions that look interesting and copy those events onto your own Google or Outlook calendar.
Here’s how:
Go to the Live Sessions playlist or click on the Featured tab.
Click the menu tab in the upper left-hand corner to navigate to the Live Sessions playlist.
Or select "Featured" from the center of your dashboard.
Browse the sessions for eLearning topics that are important to you. Click on an Event tile and scroll to the bottom of the description for the RSVP button. Click RSVP.
You’ll know you’ve RSVP’d when the button changes to a join link for the Zoom meeting. You’ll also receive an email with your event info and options to add the event link to your preferred calendar.
When you’re not attending the live sessions, you can check out all of the on-demand playlists on the Featured tab for other useful resources.
The on-demand content includes our most popular recorded webinars, tutorials for Lectora® and CenarioVR®, and info about our products and services.
